Lake Elsinore, California, February 26, 2009 - Telecom Association ("TA"), a professional membership organization of 3,200 telecom distributors founded in 1995, honored the telecom industry's top 10 vendors in 20 categories today by bestowing on them the title, "Members Choice", "Top 5" or "Top 10".

TA Press Release Quotes Regarding TA's Annual "Members Choice" Awards

Qualified TA voting members began nominating the top telecom industry vendors in 20 categories last November and member voting by qualified TA telecom agent and channel partner members was conducted online at the TA website starting the first week of January. voting closed on February 20th.

"Winning TA's annual 'Members Choice' award in a specific category is a significant tribute to each winner's telecom agent, channel partner and customer service programs", stated TA Founder Dan Baldwin. "This is the fourth consecutive year for our annual Members Choice awards and over 320 qualified member ballots were cast this year, a new record."

"Our members are fairly stingy with their votes," Baldwin continued. "They only vote for those providers they feel are doing an exceptional job, one that is far above the norm for service providers in the category. The reason we conduct our annual awards is to let our members state for the public record exactly which vendors they feel are doing the best job in multiple categories."

"For the next twelve months, all TA vendor members in each service category in TA's online vendor directory will be sorted not alphabetically but in the order of the number of Members Choice votes they received this year. This way, when new TA members are looking for a competent vendor in any service category they can confidently refer to TA's online vendor directory to find a vendor that is though well of by TA's agent and partner members", Baldwin added.

"TA thanks all our members who took the time to honor the top telecom vendors in the industry with their votes. As well, TA thanks all the vendors receiving nominations and votes'" Baldwin concluded. "TA's annual Members Choice awards allows TA members to publically recognize those vendors setting the standard of excellence in their respective categories."

Nominated vendors not placing in the top ten of their service category may still qualify for an "Honor Roll" award. Winners of TA Honor Roll awards will be announced March 31, 2009.

Eligibility to Display TA “Members Choice” Award Logos

While any winning vendor may state in written publications that they have won a specific TA Members Choice award category, only current paid TA vendor members may display the copyrighted image of any of the TA Members Choice award logo.

The exception to this policy is that TA will present all Members Choice and Top Five winners with a foam core plaque they may display on their tradeshow booth at the March 2009 Channel Partners show only. If they wish to continue to display the award publically or use it in promotions they must first become a paid TA vendor members by contacting Kathleen Brown, Administrator at 951-296-3870 or KB@TelecomAssociation.com.
