Who Can Vote

"Active and independent" telecom agents, auditors, consultants, VARs and or other individuals who distribute or recommend telecom or data solutions directly to businesses and who have an informed opinion about which solution providers do the best job can become free registered voting members of TA and nominate and vote for those providers qualified to be called the “Members Choice”. The voting eligible status of all TA members casting ballots will be verified by TA. "Active" is minimally defined as having a publicly accessible business telephone number that answers in the member's name. "Independent" is minimally defined as the capability of representing more than one vendor.

Who Can't Vote

Employees, customers, or friends and family can not vote. Master Agents can not vote for themselves. Agent managers can not vote for their own company. "Internet only" agents that do not communicate directly with customers can not vote.

Eligibility to Display TA “Members Choice” Award Logos

While any winning vendor may state in written publications that they won a specific TA Members Choice award category, only current paid TA vendor members may display the copyrighted image of any of the TA Members Choice award logos or badges.

Other Rules

Winners will only be authorized to distribute "we won" announcements that display the TA Members Choice award logos during the calendar year they won.

Nominations and Voting

Nominating begins 11/17/8 and closes 12/31/8.

Voting begins 1/6/9 and closes 2/20/9.

Winners are announced 3/1/9.

Categories are not mutually exclusive. Vendors may be nominated into and win in multiple categories. Until 12/31/8, TA may add additional categories or sub-divide categories as it makes sense for our members. The top vendor in each category will win the "Members Choice" award for that category. Runners-up will win a designation as "Top 5", "Top 10" or "Honor Roll".

Who Can Win

Any vendor receiving a significant number of nominations by TA members can receive votes and win in any Members Choice category. Vendors need not be a current paid TA vendor to be nominated and win. Only paid TA vendor members may display TA Members Choice award artwork or logos.

Awards Notification

TA will announce the winners of the 2009 Members Choice awards on 3/1/8.

Other "Fine Print"

1. TA members can nominate vendors into existing or new categories until 12/31/8. To nominate any vendor for any category, TA members need only to submit a nomination form where the identity of the vendor is clear. TA may communicate with the member and/or nominated vendor to confirm appropriate category nominations. Vendors receiving an insignificant number of nominations will not be placed on the final ballot.

2. Each TA member's online membership record will have an official ballot section that will be accessible from 1/6/9 through 2/20/9. During this voting time period, every TA member will be prompted to make their category votes on their official online ballot. Members can only vote for one vendor in each category but can change their vote at any time through 2/20/9. On 2/21/8 the official online ballot will be locked and all member votes will be officially tabulated and verified. Winners and runners up will be announced on 3/1/8.

3.  For every ballot cast, TA will attempt to confirm the member voting is indeed "active and independent" by calling the member's phone number and/or reviewing the member's business website. If TA can not confirm a voting member's status as "active and independent" the vote will not be counted.

4. To maintain the continued credibility of TA's annual Members Choice awards, TA reserves for itself the final decision on any and all nominations, categories, votes and what criteria constitutes "active and independent".
