About 

Founded in 1995, Telecom Association (TA) is a membership organization of 2,400 providers and distributors of telecom solutions for businesses. TA’s annual “Members Choice Awards” recognizes telecom vendors that excel in multiple categories.  Click here to see who won the 2006 Members Choice Awards. 

Who Can Vote

Anyone who distributes telecom solutions to businesses and has an informed opinion about which telecom providers do the best job can use this ballot to become a free registered member of TA and nominate those providers worthy to be called the “Members Choice”. Only registered and verified TA members can nominate vendors and then cast an official vote between 1/2/7 through 2/9/7.   Click here to register now & nominate vendors.

Categories

TA's Members Choice Award categories include Master Agency, Carrier/Reseller, Local, Data, VoIP Service & Equipment, Conferencing, Wireless & Enhanced Services. The categories are not mutually exclusive. Vendors may be nominated into and win awards in multiple categories. TA can also add additional categories or sub-divide categories as it makes sense for our members and vendors.

Who Can Win

Any vendor nominated to the Members Choice Award ballot by a registered TA voting member can receive votes and win in any Members Choice category. Vendors need not be a current paid TA vendor to be nominated and win. Since only TA members can vote though, and since TA members are generally very familiar with TA vendors, TA vendor members generally do very well in the final voting.

Annual Awards Presentation

TA will present the winners of the 2007 Members Choice Awards on 3/4/7 at the opening of the Channel Partners Expo in Las Vegas.

Other Rules

Nominations:  Nominations are open now and will remain open through the close of voting on 2/9/7. The top 10 nominated vendors in each category will be placed on the official 2007 Members Choice voting ballot that will be emailed out on 1/2/7.

Dynamic Ballot:  TA's Members Choice Awards use a dynamic ballot in that while registered TA voting members can only cast one vote they can go back and change their vote anytime until voting closes on 2/9/7. In addition, vendors nominated late in the voting period can be added to the ballot and then receive votes up until the close of official voting on 2/9/7. All registered TA voting members will receive their official ballot via email on 1/2/7. Members registering to vote after 1/2/7 can still register, receive an email ballot and vote all the way through 2/9/7.

Oversight:  TA has selected the editorial staff of Phone+ magazine to provide independent official oversight to the TA Members Choice Awards selection process.
