Vendor Program Overview

TelecomAssociation ("TA") paid vendor members are businesses that wish to communicate with TA's 3,500+ complimentary members through TA's email newsletters, websites and proprietary databases. One of the primary reasons TA complimentary members join TA is to receive information about various technology products and services produced and/or distributed by TA vendor members.

Monthly Vendors - $395 per calendar month via automatic credit card payment after a one-time setup fee of $1,995. (First month is pro-rated).

Annual Vendors - $3,995 per year (365 consecutive days from initial payment) via credit card payment of company check after a one-time setup fee of $1,995.

Annual "Vendor Success Plan"

To create proper expectations of success, TA has created an annual "Vendor Success Plan". This six-page plan is customized for each paid vendor member and documents "who does what" during the important four-week "quick start" period after the vendor joins and then each successive month. The plan is published for the vendor and then reviewed, revised and updated each quarter. The plan includes specific measures of success agreed upon between TA and the vendor member.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What percentage of TA's complimentary members are telecom agents or channel partners that call directly on end-users?  About two-thirds

2. What format are the vendor email blasts submitted to TA? Most TA vendors create a HTML blast on their own web server and then email TA the URL address of the blast & the subject line.

3. Can TA help vendor members create the email blasts? Yes. We do this at not charge.

4. How are the vendors in TA vendor directory sorted? By order of TA Members Choice annual award order. The vendors that TA members think do the best job go on top.

5. How does TA differ from similar organizations that put vendors in touch with telecom agents and channel partners?

  • Content - TA is the only organization of its kind where the content is regularly generated by a working telecom agent. TA founder & executive director Dan Baldwin actively sells network services to end user businesses and has since 1990. He has also worked as an agent manager so he's seen the entire channel from all sides.
     

  • Membership - All TA complimentary members either "double opt-in" at www.TAjoin.com because they specifically want to receive information from TA's vendor members or they have been personally invited to join TA by Dan Baldwin or an industry channel leader based on the member's successful public channel profile.
     

  • Equality & Price - All TA vendor members pay the exact same vendor dues. The smallest TA vendor is equal to the biggest TA vendor. All vendor get the same benefits regardless of their marketing budget.

6. Can we send out a trial email blast to see if this will work for us? No. Creating a successful channel marketing campaign with one or two email blasts will lead to as much success as filling a movie theatre with a single billboard. Over the past ten years the number of telecom agents and channel partners has declined while the success of individual channel partners have increased. More business is being done through fewer total partners. To earn  a partner's business these days you need to "be known". TA helps you "become known" right away and then consistently over six to twelve months. To be successful you need to commit to working the TA vendor program at least six months.
