Member Program Information


Summary

TelecomAssociation ("TA"), originally founded in 1995, is a membership organization of 2,400 individuals involved in the business of providing telecom and technology solutions to small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) as well as distributing and selling the telecom and technology network services and hardware components that make the solutions work. The three entity "solution" distribution channel has a small business "solution end-user" on one end and the vendors of the solution's various network services and hardware components on the other end.

In between the small business end-user that purchases or subscribes to the solution and the vendors that create the solution's network service and component parts is the "solution provider". Also known as a telecom agent, telecom consultant, channel partner, network service integrator, as well as many other titles, by adding industry knowledge and market savvy to the mix a solution provider turns various network services and hardware components into a telecom or technology solution that solves a problem for a small business owner.

We call the solution provider in the middle of the technology distribution channel a "TA Member".

 

You're Invited to Become a Recognized & Listed TA Member

If you or your company provides telecom and technology solutions, services or products directly to small and medium sized businesses then you're invited to join TelecomAssociation as a recognized and listed TA Member. There is no cost to join or to be officially recognized and listed as a TA member.

All you need is the following:

1. An Internet web site or even a single web page with our contact information that describes your services. If you do not have a current web page, TA will provide qualified applicants with a web page on TA's SolutionReview.com web site.

2. Agree to promptly and professionally respond to business inquiries; honestly share all information prospects and clients need to make informed decisions; learn what is necessary to best match specific solutions to specific client problems; and, to the best of your ability, make sure all parties to any business transaction are afforded respect and the opportunity to earn a fair return on their investment of resources.

 

Vendor Membership Benefits

Specific TA vendor member benefits vary depending on which TA audience a vendor is most interested in. The following applies to TA's "TelecomAgent News" audience only. For information about other TA audiences please contact Dan Baldwin at Dan@TelecomAssociation.com or 951-251-5155.

Vendor Email Blasts - TA members who subscribe to TelecomAgent News are also subscribed to a separate "vendor email blast" ("VEB") list for each TA vendor. Through TA, each TA vendor can send up to one VEB per week to it's TA VEB list. Most TA vendors use their TA VEB conservatively as any TA member can opt-out of any TA VEB at any time. VEBs sent out over the past seven days appear as "Vendor Announcements This Week" at the www.TelecomAgentNews.com home page. To see what all the VEBs look like when they are emailed out by TA simply click here to register as a TA member and indicate that you want to subscribe to all TA VEBs.

TelecomAgent Week in Review - Every Friday, TA sends out its Week in Review ("WIR") email newsletter. The WIR highlights industry news, provides links to TA reports, interviews and archives and most importantly provides a summary of all the VEBs sent our for the week. So even if a TA member has unsubscribed from a vendor's individual TA VEB the subscriber may still see the vendor's headline via TA's WIR and click on a link to review any or all of the individual VEBs sent out that week. To subscribe to the WIR simply click here to register as a TA member and indicate that you want to subscribe to TA's WIR.

Vendor Directory Listing - All TA members have access to TA's password protected vendor directory where they can find TA vendors that distribute specific products or services or review a vendor's recent VEBs. To view the vendor directory simply register as a TA members, click on the email confirmation link and then log in with your username & password.

Direct Mail & Telemarketing - TA vendors may request a copy of TelecomAgent News subscribers' mailing addresses and phone numbers for the purpose of directly contacting the subscribers at the vendors' expense to inquire as to the subscribers' interest in the TA vendors' products or services. In addition, at TA vendor's expense, TA vendors may have TA send direct mail to any subset of TA's list of almost 18,000 prospective telecom agents.

TA Editorial Review & Coverage - At the vendor's request, TA will review and/or report on the vendor's agent program and/or products and services for the purpose of promoting the vendor's program, product or services to TA members and/or other TA or vendor audiences. Other Management Consulting Services - TA may provide other general or customized management consulting services as requested by TA vendor and as allowed by TA resources.

 

Vendor Membership Dues & Setup Fee

Vendor member dues are $295 per calendar month or $2,950 per year and are prepaid. All vendor members pay a one-time setup fee of $1,495. Vendor membership may be cancelled at any time after 30-day confirmed notice. If a vendor member goes over 30-days unpaid they must pay another setup fee before they can have their vendor membership reinstated. Monthly dues payments must be made by automatic credit card payment. By submitting any payment to TA, vendor acknowledges understanding and acceptance of TA vendor agreement
