If you're looking for a nice, relaxing, scenic place to
eat lunch with an outdoor patio in or around Lake Elsinore then Summerly
Grill is the best place we know of as of August 2008. We've eaten lunch
now there about three times over several months and the experience has
been very consistent.
As far as we're concerned, the two best menu items are
the Caesar salad and the smoked meat. Nancy and I love Caesar salad and
the lunch chef at the Summerly Grill seems to whip his (or her) Caesar
dressing up from scratch.
 As
well, they have a small smoker on site that they use to smoke pork or
beef. I love anything smoked so it tastes pretty good to me. Nancy on the
other hand only likes smoked pork & beef if the smoke's not too heavy. She
likes the meat at Summerly Grill.
The service is very friendly and it's never been very
crowded the three times we've had lunch there so it's a very relaxing
place to eat.
The last two times we've eaten there they've had special
parties set up for some sort of corporate dining event. While they have a
small indoor dining area the outside space is expansive which lends the
Summerly grill as an ideal location for any size dining party that wants
to be outdoors.
As you can see from the
menu, the prices are very reasonable. On our last visit we picked up a
flyer advertising a prime rib dinner on Thursdays from 6 - 8pm for just
$12.95
Bottom line? For a casual but scenic outdoor relaxing
lunch experience, this is as good as it gets in the Elsinore valley.
