This is actually a review of the cocktail lounge that
overlooks the water at B's BBQ which is in a separate building that hangs
over the water.
When Nancy and I go to Big Bear from Lake Elsinore we're
not looking for barbecue so much as a really cool place to have a beer on
a hot day --AND see the water at the same time.
I don't think there's anyplace in Big Bear that delivers
on a VERY friendly bar, a 180 degree view of the lake from inside the bar
AND your feet in the sand (or the lake itself) at the outdoor part of the
bar. (And very generous parking as well!)
The drinks are reasonably priced, the bar food is good
and cheap but the view is what you come for. Very cool.
The only improvement I can recommend to the bar is if
they could add some of the BBQ items to the bar menu. I'm sure they get
that all the time but then why would anyone eat in the restaurant?
Like I said, we go to Big Bear for the view, the sand
and the water. If they ever close B's bar we'll get around to trying the
restaurant.
