To announce & transfer
a call after answering (method one):
1. Press "Transfer" (which automatically puts
caller on hold)
2. Press a button on the bottom right hand
corner of the phone to get new dial tone
3. Dial extension number and ask staff if they
want to take call
If staff wants to take the call:
4. Press "transfer" and hang up
If staff does not want to take call:
6. Press the flashing button to take caller off
hold & repeat process to try to transfer to
another staff member or
7. Press "transfer, 3, extension number & hang
up" to put caller in a staff voice mail box
To announce & transfer
a call after answering (method two):
1. Press "Hold" to put the caller on hold
2. Press "Intercom & extension #" to voice
announce call to see if the staff person wants
to take the call
If staff wants to take the call
3. Tell the staff to hang up if they answered
the intercom call by picking up the handset
4. Press the flashing button to take caller off
hold
5. Press "transfer, extension number & hang up"
If staff does not want to take call:
6. Press the flashing button to take caller off
hold & repeat process to try to transfer to
another staff member or
7. Press "transfer, 3, extension number & hang
up" to put caller in a staff voice mail box
