Following is one of many important TA Vendor News updates you need to know about.

To bring more attention to our vendors' email blast weekly headlines, beginning in January 2011, TA is changing the format of our weekly email newsletter that is sent to TA's 3,500+ complimentary members.

As you can see, we've removed the TA blog post summaries from the middle of the newsletter that distracted from the vendor headlines. We've also renamed the weekly newsletter to focus on the vendor news. While "Weekly Business Phone Deals" might seem a bit too salesy, it's specifically designed to maximize email opens as well as pull search engine traffic. (A lot more Googler's type in "business phone" then they do "TA Newsletter".)

We are keeping our "Managed Voice and Data" publication with all the blog posts, but we're going to distribute it as a 'monthly'.

As a TA vendor, here's what you need to take note of:

On a monthly basis please email Kathleen your email headlines and blasts for the coming month or so. She'll put all of them in weekly rotation as you direct. Please let her know which ONE headline and blast you want in the MONTHLY newsletter.
Premier TA vendors will still get their 150 pixel button logo in the monthly newsletter. Premier vendors will also get a 550 x 75 pixel banner in the new weekly newsletter format. Please email a 550 x 75 pixel banner (JPG, PNG or GIF only) to Kathleen.
As you can see by clicking around the links at the top of www.weeklybusinessphonedeals.com, this weekly newsletter supports and compliments TA's blog at www.BestPhoneVendors.com which is our new TA vendor directory for 2011. (You'll see we cleverly converted all the 2010 Members Choice Award input we collected.) We're still in the process of completing all the directory pages to reflect the final voting of the 2010 awards. If you see any errors, please let us know.

In addition to housing our 2011 TA vendor directory, you can see that www.BestPhoneVendors.com also accommodates blog posting with comments. The blog posts are generally done by me to promote and support your weekly email blasts. If you have a NEW blast, please be sure & bring it to my attention so I can write a blog post about it.
Our monthly www.ManagedVoiceAndData.com email newsletter compliments our www.SellingTelecom.com blog. The blogging that goes on here is more vendor neutral, but can still mention you in the blogs. Please follow both our weekly and monthly publications to learn the editorial flavor of each and then let me know how you want to be included in each.

I know this is a lot of new information to absorb, but TA's very excited to be able to include our valued vendors in these new online publications that are optimized to social media and online search to showcase our vendor's best value propositions to all of TA's 3,800 members.
