#1 Email Blasts

This is the primary way that TA vendors communicate with TA's members. About 3,400 of TA's 3,800 members have given permission for TA to put their email address on the list of any new TA vendor member that joins. Once per week, TA's vendor members can send an individual email blast, through TA to all the members on the TA vendor's list.

Some vendors send out a new email blast every week and some only blast once per month. Most TA vendors have about 6 different email blasts that they rotate through. After a week, TA can give vendors the click statistics for the email blasts.

#2 Customized Written Content

Many TA vendors do not have a marketing department to help them create the individual email blasts that they send out once a week to TA's members. For vendors that need help creating their email blasts, TA can help write customized content.

The initial setup fee pays for the creation of these initial email blasts. If vendors desire additional creation of blasts like these TA charges $95 per hour.

 

#3  Daily & Weekly Vendor eBlast Summary  

About a third of TA members elect to not receive every individual e-blast from every TA vendor but they can still see the vendor headlines on a daily or weekly basis.

Every day TA publishes a summary of the previous day's vendor blast headlines at our agent blog, www.MyTAnews.com. This daily summary is also included in the daily email headlines newsleter we send out every night. Click here to subscribe to the daily summary.

TA also sends out a Weekly Business Phone Deals Newsletter that summarizes the vendor eblast headlines from the past week.

 

#4  Audio Content Creation 

To make sure new TA vendors get a proper introduction to TA's 3,800 members, TA produces an audio podcast recording of new vendors.  Once the podcast is created it is e-blasted to TA's members and also posted on our agent and end-user blogs at MyTAnews.com and BusinessPhoneNews.com

#5  Video Content Creation 

To make sure new TA vendors get a proper introduction to TA's 3,800 members, TA also produces a web video recording to allow the vendor to showcase any "Vendor Presentation" Power Point slides they may have.  Once the web video is created it is published at TELEPEDIA.org, e-blasted to TA's members and also posted on our agent and end-user blogs at MyTAnews.com and BusinessPhoneNews.com

For vendors that do not have a prepared "vendor presentation" Power Point already made up they can create one that basically uses the same outline of the generic draft script for the audio podcast.

#6  Annual Awards Recognition

Since 2006, TA has produced an annual "Members Choice" awards program to honor the TA vendor members that TA's 3,800 members think have been doing the best job in dozens of solutions categories based on popular vote.  Click here to view vendor award winners from the first five years.

In 2011, TA is converting the annual awards program to "Customers' Choice" and "Partners' Choice" awards based not on popular agent vote but on the sales volume, customer/agent testimonial and opinion of TA member category subject matter experts. All paid TA vendor members are eligible to compete in the awards program and generally do quite well in their individual categories.

 

#7  Recommended Vendor & Agent Directory

In 2011, TA launched an ambitious "Recommended Members" directory on TA's blog for business end-users and IT VAR lead partners at BusinessPhonenews.com. There are actually three directories broken down by metro geography, service category and vertical industry.  Each directory has multiple categories and lists both paid TA vendor members and highly qualified TA member partners.

TA vendors are included in all categories in which they have a documented specialy and expertise.

 

#8  Coverage in Agent & End-User Blogs

As mentioned above, TA has a blog for agents at MyTAnews.com and a blog for business end-users and IT VAR lead partners at BusinessPhoneNew.com

TA publishes stories on these two blogs about paid TA vendors when the vendors request it or do something "blog worthy".

TA vendors can also get access to publish directly to either blog as often as they like once they watch these three blog training videos:

#9  Daily Blog Headline News Emails

As mentioned above, TA sends out a "Daily Headlines Newsletter" every morning about 7am Eastern that pushes the previous day's MyTANews.com blog headlines out to our 2,700 members that enjoy seeing a daily blog headline review in their email inbox every morning.

If you are directly blogging yourself on MyTAnews.com then 2,700 of TA's members will see your blog headline the next morning in their email in-box.

 

#10  TA Member & Partner Prospect Contact Lists

TA maintains detailed lists of the best channel partners in the US. TA also has access to partner prospect lists across the US that can target in geography.  These lists contain direct contact information that allow telephone prospecting and direct mail.  The lists DO NOT have email addresses.

Some lists are available at no extra charge to TA vendors while other lists require a labor charge to be pulled.

 

#11 Program Advice & Rolodex Referrals

TA vendors have unlimited access to the brain of Dan Baldwin.  Dan's been in the telecom network sales industry since 1990. He's been an agent, channel manager and VP of Sales. He has an opinion about just about everything and he's only wrong 51% of the time. Feel free to bounce any idea off him about your program.

Dan also has over 6,000 contact records in his professional Rolodex. Dan knows the person you need to get into contact with or he knows the person who knows and will be glad to provide a professional referral.

 

#12 On-Site Event Media Coverage

Vendors that need on-site media coverage for their partner events can schedule  Dan Baldwin to provide it.  The media coverage includes preplanned video in all of TA's blogs.

Unless Dan will be at the event already a travel stipend is generally required in advance of booking.  Travel stipends rarely exceed $500.
