DRAPER, Utah -
Telarus, Inc. today announced that it had delivered the
150,000th warm lead to its network of subagents. Telarus generates
online leads through its network of affiliates and corporately owned
web properties, all of which are endowed with GeoQuote real-time
search technology. Using XML to communicate with the Telarus lead
processing system, all leads generated through the network of
affiliate sites are assigned and placed in the back office "inbox"
of Telarus subagents for follow-up.
"We are very excited to have delivered over 150,000 leads to our
agents over the past four years" commented Adam Edwards, president
of Telarus, Inc. "Being able to compliment our agent's own lead
generation with warm internet leads has been a huge value-add."
Telarus has been generating warm telecom service leads for its
agents since 2003 using web sites such as
www.ShopforEthernet.com,
www.ShopforT1.com, and
www.GeoQuote.net. Telarus
affiliates are also able to add the GeoQuote real-time quoting
system to their own sites using what Telarus calls an "XML Plug-in",
allowing agents the ability to customize their own sites while
maintaining the ability to generate referrals on which they earn a
piece of the residual commission.
"Our model of creating an online army of lead generators who
share in the commission with traditional agents was looked upon with
suspicion and skepticism by almost everyone with whom we shared it,"
remembers Lance Akins, VP of Sales for Telarus, Inc. "Over the years
we've been able to use the leads our affiliates generate to attract
the top agents in the industry, even though our commissions were
average until just this year. It took us time to generate the sales
requisite to earn the top commission from our vendors, and these
warm leads bought us this time."
All of the leads Telarus and its web affiliate generate flow
through the "LPS", or lead processing system. The LPS uses
artificial intelligence to make the appropriate routing decision,
which is made by taking several factors into consideration, some of
which include:
- Agent's preference for lead type
- Lead generators preferred agent
- Agent's previous sales performance (Revenue per lead)
- Agent's availability
- Agent's geographical preference
